New ending!!! It's nice, I like it. Not much visually considering it's basically the same image throughout, but it's kinda cool how it's posed as like real within the show, and it's different than the other endings where the characters just kinda stand there

if they thought a little harder they could go through the phone's settings and find the service provider info, the IMEI/serial number for the phone, and the sim-card's unique serial number too. problem is, it might be a 'burner'... oh. and the service providers also sometimes put a provider animation on the screen when you turn the phone on. ;) my TracFone does that. it's usually inside the sim-card's memory or if the phone is 'locked' to a certain provider that animation is in the phone's internal memory. also, if he was playing with his phone alot while eating he probably was texting somebody. most phones keep a record of texts sent and received in the internal memory or the external memory chip. if he was emailing anybody that email address he uses often could be registered inside the phone. if he was surfing the web (yes flip-phones do internet too) there would be a browser history. of course check the photos and see what he's taken shots of. also any wifi hotspots he's used or BlueTooth devices he's registered. never forget the GPS too. ;)

obviously he doesn't have a criminal record or worked for the Japanese government in any way. fingerprinting a John Doe corpse is standard procedure. also, checking missing persons reports hasn't turned up anything either. his personal items, like in that shoulder bag he was carrying hasn't helped either hmm?

in his wallet, hmm, well obviously he's a non-driver (quite common for city-dwellers in Japan) BUT! he should have an RF card for trains busses etc. almost nobody in Japan buys the paper tickets anymore, even in the 1990's like Conan's set in. he doesn't have a National Insurance ID card? health care is cheap in Japan if you've got a card. no credit cards? huh? not even a debit one? Japan's National ID Card does exist but it is a kinda-sorta touchy subject there. that's a whole essay of its own though. heh heh ;>

Ah this is detective Conan ending 18 and I’m surprised that this has more endings than one piece and that show has many episodes but to be fair detective Conan has but not caught up to them as I’m on this episode

it started so good then fumbled with the chorus part, that chorus was so weak, so overall pretty mid song sadly.

Miss/Sister Zi ->Azusa
names of streets and places : entirely wrong, just go with what you hear

I can't believe they subtitled 'Poirot' as 'Pouro'😭
